We had spent most of the day at the brooklyn book festival and decided to cap it off with a pig roast.
Sam Sherman of Applewood fame roasted a pig for a few friends at quarter bar brooklyn last weekend. I'd like to note there was ample potato salad, grilled corn and really delicious cabbage slaw as well.
I'm glad I was able to steal away for a bit of quality time with friends.

I'm off on a trip tomorrow to a place that is known for extraordinary pumpkin seed oil; I'll be be back in a few weeks to share some fun stuff.

We wandered over to Le Grenier on recommendation from a friend the other day, to see if they had the perfect shelf for our kitchen.
I love that they have a prop rentals service...
and that everyone was out back playing croquet.

I adore a lot of shops on Franklin street in Greenpoint, but Pip-Squeak Chapeau etc. is my favorite. Looking through their current collection makes me happy.

I've been re-scanning some film from a pacific northwest trip Stephen and I took a few years ago. I really picked the perfect time to delve into these photographs, too... feeling so ready for autumn now!

Mark Robinson of OEN (ONEEIGHTNINE) posted about my "At Home" series of photographs on his blog this past July. (I am so flattered. Thank you for your lovely post, Mark)
